Beh, sono sicuro che poi dopo qualche mese uscirà il DVD ufficiale come già fu per il Party at the Palace nel 2002.

Jubilee concert had 120 applicants for every ticket

More than 1.2m applications were made for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace in June - with only 10,000 tickets up for grabs.

The tickets were allocated to the randomly-chosen recipients last month but the application figures were only announced by the Palace on Tuesday.

The concert will feature artists such as Sir Paul McCartney, Shirley Bassey, Stevie Wonder and Jessie J.

Take That star Gary Barlow has been organising the line-up.

The concert takes place on 4 June and will be televised live on the BBC One and Radio 2.

It will take place near The Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace, on a specially-constructed stage.

JLS, Elton John and Sir Paul McCartney will also be among the performers.

Barlow said the gig would "transcend multiple decades of music".

Ten years ago, the Queen celebrated her Golden Jubilee with two concerts - one classical and one pop - also at the Palace.

Party at the Palace and Prom at the Palace received more than one million applications but there were only 12,000 tickets available for the two concerts.

In 2005, there were two million bids for tickets for Hyde Park's Live 8 show, attended by 205,000 music fans.

Tickets for the Diamond Jubilee concert will go out to the successful applicants at the end of May.

Paul McCartney is scheduled for two as-yet-unnamed songs, plus “Live and Let Die.” Elton John will perform three numbers: “I’m Still Standing,” “Your Song” and “Crocodile Rock.”

Abbastanza odioso)
